About the Work:
Found objects are at the heart of this sculpture, aptly titled "Flying Debris", an assemblage of mechanical hardware, tools and re-bar, formed into the shape of one of the most distinctive local birds, the blue heron. Like many of Leo’s sculptures, the piece and the title exudes wit and whimsy.
